The pressure-volume-temperature(p-V- T) properties have a very important effect on the producing, processing and ap plication of polymer and its blends as basis properties. The measurement methods and their application of pVT data were widely reviewed. It shows that p- V-T is much more important in the basic study and application as fundamentall y thermodynamic parameters. The theoretical estimation of the phase behavior of polymer blends is also dependent on them. Some important properties can be deduced, which can not be measured in experiment, through pVT data and polymer st atistics theory. This can direct the development of technique of the producing and processing of polymer and its blends.
