博雅教育是高校体育教育专业人才培养的新理念。在体育教育专业的教学过程中，应压缩必修课门类，加大选修课的门类和课时比例，因材施教，满足学生个性化体育发展的要求，促进学生的身心健康，提高学生适应社会发展的能力。

Liberal art is a new idea for physical education in normal universities. The categories and class ratio of elective couses should be increasied, and the categories of required courses should be reduced through the process of teaching. Teaching according to the student＇s ability could meet the requirements of students personality development in order to promote students body health and enhouse the ability for adapting social development.
