Problems about cooling tower of circulating water in Yan'an Petrochemical Works were introduced and analyzed.A series of transforming measures were taken,such as stripping slime from cooling tower fill layer,modifying fillers and so on,which made circulating water temperature decreased less than 30 ℃ after cooling,and difference temperature between hot and cool circulating water was about 10 ℃,which effectively ensured smooth long-term operation of all equipment in whole factory.
