Spectrophotometric method and gravimetric method for the determination of suspended substance in water for accuracy and precision comparison experiment.The result showed that spectrophotometry analysis determinates suspended solid in water,it had simpler and faster,and accurate,and timely of requirements,give full play to the role of instrument in determination and improve the analysis efficiency.so worthy of application in environmental monitoring.
