Methanol is one kind of very important basie organieehemieal raw materials, which has been wildly used in various filed, such as organiesynthesis, dying material,pestieide,painiing, automobiles and national defense. The technological advances of methanol production are introduced in this paper. This article summarily discussed the latest developments of the cell technologies which are involved in the methanol technologies, such as coal gasification, methanol synthesis and Crude methanol distillation.
