Microalgae is one of the most potential bio-fuel feedstock.This paper discussed progress in producing bio-oil of microalgae,including microalgae oil extraction,microalgae liquefaction and some other new types of liquefied technologies such as super-critical liquefaction,microwave pyrolysis and thermochemical catalytic liquefaction. The characteristics and advantage of current technology were described,and the main trends in the future were prospected.
