The causes of wetting deformation of the dam after split grouting are analyzed here systematically and comprehensively,and all sorts of phenomenon during split grouting are explained rationally by using wetting deformation mechanism.Besides,the relative controlling parameters for split grouting are put forward so as to make full use of wetting deformation without influencing the stability of dam.
