Taking the construction in Longzikang tunnel of expressway Jishou-Huaihua of Hunan by triple heading and first on both sides and then on top method as well as mid heading-assisted method as an example,some technical problems of twin-arch tunnel under different levels of rock and geological circumstances are studied systematically,such as construction method,construction procedure,construction cautions and monitoring measurement.They can provide effective guidance for the construction of twin-arch tunnel.
