界面皮炎指的是一种特定的组织学炎症类型,主要表现为基底细胞液化变性和真皮浅层血管周围,尤其是乳头部位致密的炎症细胞浸润.多种炎症及肿瘤性疾病的组织学改变中均有界面皮炎的表现,包括扁平苔藓、红斑狼疮、单纯疱疹病毒感染的皮损、病毒疣、苔藓样型日光角化病和鳞状细胞癌等.研究显示,Ⅰ型干扰素可能参与界面皮炎的发病.可能在不同的情况下,干扰素诱导细胞毒性攻击行为,作用于基底细胞引起界面皮炎的表现.

The term"interface dermatitis (ID)" refers to a specific histological inflammatory pattern that is characterized by the liquefactive degeneration of basal cells and dense inflammatory infiltration around the vessels in superficial dermis, especially in dermal papilla. ID can be seen in many different inflammatory skin disorders including lichen planus, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, herpes simplex virus infection, viral warts and tumors such as lichenoid actinic keratosis and squamous cell carcinoma. Recent studies have shown that the type-Ⅰ interferon is involved in the pathogenesis of cutaneous disorders pathologically characterized by ID. Interferon Ⅰ, in certain conditions, may induce cytotoxic attacks against basal cells and subsequently cause the development of ID.
