本文记述黑龙江省饶河县五林洞蚋属Simulium 蚋亚属Simulium一新种,以虞以新教授的姓氏命名为虞氏蚋S.(Simulium)yui sp.nov.该蚋与S.(S.)hirtipannus Puri,1932,S.(S.)jacuticum Rubtsov,1940,S.(S.)decimatum Dorogostaisky,Rubtsov and Vlasenko,1935和S.(S.)cholodkovskii Rubtsov,1940 相似,但是,本新种蛹的呼吸丝10条,与6条呼吸丝的前两种蚋不同.该新种的生殖叉突为倒Y形,后两种蚋的生殖叉突两臂弯曲,基半部上抬,后半部斜前伸,不呈倒Y形,肛上板的形状和蛹呼吸丝的排列均有明显差异.模式标本保存于军事医学科学院微生物流行病研究所医学昆虫标本馆.

A new species of Simulium ( Simulium) collected from Raohe County, Heilongjiang province has been described herewith in present paper, and named as Simulium (Simulium) yui sp. Nov. In doing honor to professor YU Yi-xin for his contributions on Simuliidae study. The new species, only female adults and pupa were collected, is closely related to S. (S.) hirtipannus Puri, 1932, S. (S.) jacuticum Rubtsov, 1940, S. (S.) decimatum Dorogostaisky, Rubtsov and Vlasenko, 1935 and S. ( S.) cholodkovskii Rubtsov, 1940, but can be distinguished from the 4 species by the structure and morphology of gonapophyses, genital fork, anterior gonapophyses, spermatheca, paraproct and cercus of female adults, and by the number and arrangement of pupal gill filaments. All the specimens are kept in the Medical Entomology Collection Gallery, Beijing Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology, Beijing.
