The study of LiNd(PO3)4 crystals was carried out by TG and DTA in different atmosphere (nitrogen and air). The TG and DTA curves were presented. The thermal decomposition mechanisms in nitrogen and air were discussed. The results indicate that the major products of thermal decomposition are Nd4(P2O7)3 and NdP2O7 in N2 and air , respectively.
