The measurement of liquid level height by using ultra sonic is a measuring technique with high precision and low cost. An ultrasonic l iquid level indicator that we developed was introduced in this paper. It in c luded the principle and systematic structure, as well as the design of its softw are and hardware. A filtering algorithm suitable for 89C51 single_chip microcomp uter data was propose
