This article begins with the control the occurrence of accidental events,and then from the point of indirect design method on resisting progressive collapse of frame structure.It summarizes and proposes some effective measures on resisting progressive collapse of frame structure from architectural and structural design aspects,focusing on strengthening the integrity,continuity,ductility and redundancy of the structure,so as to improve continuous collapsible resistance capability of frame structure.
