The processes of direct mixing, solution mixing, emulsion mixing, melt mixing and in-situ polymerization for carbon nanotubes/rubber composites were introduced, and the processing behavior, mechanical properties and electrical properties of nanocomposites were reviewed with 59 references. It was pointed out that new preparation technique and methods of purification and modification for carbon nanotubes, preparation and relationship between structure and properties for carbon nanotubes/rubber composites should be emphasized in future research and development works.
