This paper discussed how τ test used for gross error detection in GPS post-processing,confirmed that it had uncertainty when using τ test in gross error detection through examples.And this paper proposed that in GPS network data processing,it＇s unnecessary to pay more attention to the result of τ test when analyzing the adjustment.
