为了研究遥感图像在传输的过程中可能产生误码,对编码及图像传输系统进行了改进.从无线通信系统的传输机制出发,分别使用滤波器法和正弦函数相加法对传输信道进行模拟,产生出相应的传输误码,并通过仿真结果对误码传输方案进行比较.应用该误码产生方案可以对JPEG和SPIHT编码的图像在传输信道中的抗误码能力进行评估.实验结果证明误码产生方案的可行性,找出了更适合COST207规定乡村条件下传输的编码方案.

For researching the bit error in the remote sensing image transmission and improving the image transmission systems, a bit error generator was designed. According to the wireless transmission mechanism and the standard COST207, a novel descriptive model was proposed for bit error generation. Moreover, two general methods, Filter Method and Sum of Sinusoid ( SoS) Method, were applied to simulate the transmission channels. Based on the bit error generator, two image compress schemes, SPIHT and JPEG2000 were used to evaluate its performance in transmission with bit error. The results of simulation show that Filter Method and SoS Method are of equivalent efficiency to generate bit error. The comparison between the transmitted images shows that SPIHT can be better for transmission in Rural Area (RA) environment according to COST207.
