The article introduces calamities from sandy soil liquefaction, analyzes the reasons impacting sandy soil liquefaction based on the his-tory of sandy soil liquefaction study and its mechanism, and expatiates some currently advanced methods used for distinguishing sandy soil liq-uefaction, and brings forward the measure for preventing sandy soil liquefaction of expressway subsoil.
