Four chlorinated 1-alkyl-3-methyl imidazolium compounds ([Bmim]Cl,[Omim]Cl,[C_12mim]Cl,[C_16mim]Cl) were synthesized under an organic-solvent-free condition with microwave irradiation,and their surface tensions and water adsorption properties were mensurated.
