以2,5-二溴吡啶为原料,通过格式置换法(GRIM)合成了聚吡啶(PPY)。采用红外吸收光谱(IR)及热重分析(TG)对其结构及热稳定性能进行了表征,紫外一可见吸收光谱(UV—Vis)、荧光发射光谱(FL)及电化学分析法对其光物理和电化学性能进行了研究。结果表明,PPY具有较好的热稳定性能,其stokes位移为130nm,具有较好的发光特性。电化学分析显示PPY具有较好的电化学还原特性,具有较好的电子传输性,其电子亲和能(Ea)为3.35eV,电离能(Lp)为5.97eV,能隙(Eg)为2.62eV。

Polypyridine (PPY) was synthesized via the Grignard metathesis method (GRIM) from 2,5 - dibromopyridine. The structure and thermal stability of PPY were characterized by means of infrared absorption spectrometry(IR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TG), respectively. The photophysical characterization of PPY were studied through the UV- visible spectra( UV -Vis) and Fluorescence Emission Spectrum(FL). The results showed that PPY had good thermal stability and fluorescence property, and the stokes shift was 130 nm. The electrochemical property was also measured by cyclic voltammetry. PPY had good reduction characteristics and electron transmission. The electron affinity energy, the ionization energy and the bandgap of PPY were 3.35 eV, 5.97 eV and 2.62 eV, respectively.
