E-cad基因启动子区CpG岛甲基化是消化道肿瘤中该基因失活的主要原因,可致E-cad表达下降或缺失,与食管癌、胃癌、肝细胞癌、胆管细胞癌、胆囊癌、胰腺癌及结直肠癌等多种消化道肿瘤的发生、发展、浸润转移和预后密切相关.E-cad基因甲基化的进一步研究将有可能指导消化道肿瘤的早期诊断、基因治疗、预防及预测肿瘤转移复发等.
E-cad基因啟動子區CpG島甲基化是消化道腫瘤中該基因失活的主要原因,可緻E-cad錶達下降或缺失,與食管癌、胃癌、肝細胞癌、膽管細胞癌、膽囊癌、胰腺癌及結直腸癌等多種消化道腫瘤的髮生、髮展、浸潤轉移和預後密切相關.E-cad基因甲基化的進一步研究將有可能指導消化道腫瘤的早期診斷、基因治療、預防及預測腫瘤轉移複髮等.

The methylation of CpG island in promoter region of E-cad gene which usually leads to inactivation of E-cad gene is closely related to the occurrence, development, invasion, metastasis and prognosis of a variety of gastrointestinal cancer, such as esophageal carcinoma, gastric carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma,cholangiocellular carcinoma, carcinoma of gallbladder, pancreatic carcinoma and colorectal cancer. Further study would probably guide the early diagnosis, gene therapy, prophylaxis and predicting recurrence of tumor metastasis of gastrointestinal cancer.
