From Nov.1979 through the end 1981,the bladder tunnel operations were performed in 26 cases of hypospadia.The new urethra was formed by using a piece of bladder mucosa.The urinary function and external urethral orifice were normal and.the results were very satisfactory.The prevention of the urinary fistula and stricture of the external urethral orifice are discussed.
