The contents of major and trace components in acetylene gas both produced by dryprocess and wet-process from calcium carbide and treated by purification and neutralization were totally analyzed by gas chromatography. The configuration and analysis conditions of gas chromatography were given. The analysis data obtained were compared and discussed. It was indicated that there were a few differences in composition of acetylene gas produced by dry-process and wetprocess.
