Tumor markers associated with esophageal carcinoma prognosis are mainly include proteins and glucoproteins. Proteins include cytokeratin 19 fragment antigen 21-1, p53 antibody, while glucoproteins include squamous cell carcinoma-antigen, vascular endothelial growth factor and so on. Detection of these markers may be helpful for predicting the prognosis of esophageal carcinoma.
