Regarding the problem of batch moving in E-glass furnaces, a method of calculating the surface glass flow speed was introduced, by which the furnace operation system has been optimized and the surface glass flow speed enhanced, resulting in the proper overcoming of the said problem and thus the stabilization of fiber drawing operation.
