Traceability status about the detection device of thermal insulating properties of doors and windows is introduced, analyzing the traditional calibration methods, by which overall performance and measure reliability of the detection device can't be explained. On the basis of the reference standards and a number of experiments on different brands of productions, the on-site calibration method is suggested when the equipment is normally working.
