Comparing with traditional lifting and assembly technology, steel pipe arch lifting technology without support reduces the workload of air welding and linear adjustment on site, ensure the steel pipe arch construction quality, shorten the installation time,save eonstruetion costs and so on. Taking the Beichengzi river bridge project No.233 provincial highway in Yangzhou as an example, this paper analyses the theoretical calculations of integral lifting and assembly process without support, construction control points on site and economic comparison, which could be refered by the construction of similar bridges
