苏辙著《春秋集解》一书,立说平易,不做深求,往往以史实、礼制为据。苏辙认为《春秋》据史书而修,与史密不可分,要探寻其大义必须对史实有清晰的认识;孔子作《春秋》也像常人写文章一样,符合行文的基本规律,又饱含人情。苏辙以例说经,但为避免不能贯通全经的尴尬,又降低了例的权威性。他还专门从《春秋》中拈出＂名分＂,加入自家义理,在解释这一称谓时发挥大义。
소철저《춘추집해》일서,립설평역,불주심구,왕왕이사실、례제위거。소철인위《춘추》거사서이수,여사밀불가분,요탐심기대의필수대사실유청석적인식;공자작《춘추》야상상인사문장일양,부합행문적기본규률,우포함인정。소철이례설경,단위피면불능관통전경적감개,우강저료례적권위성。타환전문종《춘추》중념출＂명분＂,가입자가의리,재해석저일칭위시발휘대의。
Su Zhe held that Chunqiu and the historical facts were closely related.If you want to understand Chunqiu’s real meaning,you have to learn historical facts clearly.Since Chunqiu Jijie often conveyed meanings in accordance with the historical facts and etiquette（礼） and institution（制）,it was not so difficult to understand.Su Zhe thought Confucius created Chunqiu as an ordinary writer who contained all kinds of feelings.Su Zhe explained classics with Li（例）.In order to avoid the awkwardness that Li（例） couldn’t penetrate all the classics,he reduced the authoritativeness of Li（例）.Su Zhe selected Ming Fen（名分） from Chunqiu to express his ideas specially.
