To analyze the production characters in petroleum and chemical industry, types of production accidents, sites and reasons. To discuss the reasons for chemical production accidents in terms of process technologies, current systems and structures. Suggestions and countermeasures to upgrading safety level, improve sustainable development of petroleum and chemical industry are put forward.
