In order to adapt to the higher demand of the professionals in theory and practical skills for the development of the highspeed railway, the scheme of experimental instructional system of the power supply for the specialty of electrical engineering and automation ( railway electrification) is planned in this paper. The concept of the " synthetic experimental platform" is presented, and a new synthetic experiment item is developed. Finally, a better teaching effect has been achieved by the synthetic experimental platform.
