目的　探讨不同时期、不同条件的X线片图像做直方图归一化处理后能否直接进行灰度或颜色的对比。方法　详细介绍图像归一化处理的基本原理及归一化后图像灰度分布的变化。结果　X线片图像经直方图归一化处理之后，清晰度大为提高，但各象素的灰度密度分布已不同于原始图像分布。[ HTH〗结论　归一化处理后的图像与原始图像的灰度分布并不相同，直接比较这两种图像是不恰当的；修正方法应进一步研究。

Objective　To study whether it can be d irectly compared that one of X-ray pictures taken in different period and exposur e conditions with one processed by histogram normalization. Methods　The basic principle and procedure of picture normalization was analyze d in detail. Results　The grey level and pseudo colour of X- ray pictures processed by histogram normalization showed a large amount o f variation. Conclusion　The grey distribution is different b etween original pictures and processed ones. Comparing these pictures is not authentic. Correct methods should be researched to compare different pictures.
