This paper summarizes the experiences of nursing care for 40 patients weaned from mechanical ventilation with automated weaning system(SmartCare).The key points for weaning from mechanical ventilator successfully with SmarCare were thorough patient assessment,close observation of vital signs,skilled techniques in the use of SmartCare,as well as strengthening psychological care and airway management.As a result,all 40 cases were weaned from mechanical ventilation successfully.
