Dandong City is now undergoing an important phase in the implementation of the strategy of developing the coastal economic zones in Liaoning Province. Given the key period of realizing the full revitalization of the old industrial bases, it is of great importance to cultivate the net-work of industrial clusters led by large enterprises and participated by small and medium-sized enterprises, so as to consolidate the industrial ad-vantages and promote the economic strength of the city. On the basis of fully investigating the current situation of Dangdong's industrial clusters and analyzing the problems within, the paper proposes suggestions for the city's further development, with the wish to provide certain thoughts for the promotion of the industrial cluster development in Dandong.
