An approach to master-slave workflow systems based on colored Pea'i-net was proposed. Hierarchy colored token was proposed to use for decomposing and synchronizing the instances. This approach can make master-slave proc-ess more efficient and more flexible in a workflow system. It is pointed out that the method from the approach is also useful for modeling and analysis of parallel processing in a workflow system.
