The working principle and characteristic of pulsed flame photometric detector (PFPD) are described. Seven toxic chemicals (L, HD, GB, DMMP, DA, DC, and TPA) were determined by gas chromatography/pulsed flame photometric detector (GC/PFPD). The results demonstrate that the method is sensitive and selective, and has special advantages in the detection of toxic chemicals.
