The effect of the alloying elements C, Al, Ti, Nb and W in 718 type alloys on equilibrium phases precipitation behavior was investigated employing the Thermo-Calc software and nickel-base superalloy database. Chemical composition of the equilibrium phases was also calculated. The calcula-tion results provide the theoretical bases for developing 718 type alloys with high structure stability.
