叶柄与叶片的分割是实现完整的植物叶特征提取及无损植物叶特征提取中重要的一步,可以根据叶柄与叶片的形状差异实现分割.首先将采集到的图像转换成二值图像,然后估算叶柄的大致宽度,根据该宽度对图像进行粗分割,最后根据叶柄在图像中的位置确定叶柄,实现精确分割.该算法在Visual C++6.0环境下进行了实现,对多种不同形状的植物叶进行了测试.测试结果表明,该算法能够满足应用需要,且对其它粘连目标的分割问题也具有一定的适用性.

Division of leafstalk and lamina is one of the key steps in both integrated feature extraction and non-destructive feature extraction of plant leaf.It is achieved according to shape feature.Firstly the raw image is turned into binary image.Following the width of leafstalk was estimated to segment the image and a rough result is gotten.Finally the leafstalk is found precisely according to its location in the image and the problem is solved.The algorithm is programmed with Visual C++6.0 and many leafs with different shape are tested.The results show the algorithm is applicable.The algorithm is also applicable to segment overlapping objects which meet certain conditions.
