TC2 spacecraft scientific data analysis shows that during the geomagnetic storm of 15 May 2005, there was a region in the vicinity of the dawnside boundary layer characterized by the intermittent occurrence of bursts of high energy electrons. Several payloads on TC2 have coordinated to explained and determined that the pitch angle of the high energy burst are main 90° to local magnetic filed.
