It is of vital importance to the experimenter that the accuracy of the ratio of mass to area(RMA) of an apparatus for PVT behavior determination of carbon dioxide is obtained.Experimental investigation was reported in the paper.The results showed that the most accurate RMA was obtained by repeated experiments at various temperature and various states of carbon dioxide.It was not recommended that the RMA was obtained by one temperature and one state of carbon dioxide.
