Hollow yarn knitted fabric was developed with cotton/zymolytic filament, and the char- acteristics were tested and compared with cotton knitted fabric. It came to the conclusion that vertical moisture absorption, parallel moisture absorption, heat retention, air permeability of the hollow yarn knitted fabric was better than those of cotton knitted fabric, hut bursting strength and drapability of cotton knitted fabric was better than those of the hollow yarn knitted fabric.
