This paper introduces the basic index and use characteristics of cationic resin, focusing on the selection of materials and the formula design sample of cationic resin sealing primer, and narrates the method for evaluating the sealing properties, pointing out the use limit and new product development of the cationic resin. The result shows that used in water-borne sealing primer, the cationic resin can give good adhesion, sealing property and stability.
