IMP3(胰岛素生长因子Ⅱ的mRNA的结合蛋白3)是一个新发现的癌胚胎的RNA结合蛋白,研究发现其参与细胞生长和细胞迁移在胚胎发育的早期阶段.该研究利用实时定量逆转录PCR对IMP3在乳腺癌的诊断和治疗中的应用潜力进行了研究和评估.检测了不同类型乳腺癌样本中IMP3的表达情况,定量PCR结果分析中应用2也小。方法进行了归一化比较.研究结果表明,IMP3基因表达与乳腺癌病人肿瘤的大小及淋巴转移存在明显的相关性(P〈0.01).不同的临床阶段和病理分期与IMP3的表达水平之间也存在一定的相关性,表明差异不显著(P〉0.05).该研究表明IMP3作为一种新的肿瘤相关因子,其表达水平与乳腺癌也存在一定的相关性,显示了其作为一种潜在的肿瘤标志物的可能性.

IMP3 ( insulin-like growth factor II mRNA-binding protein 3 ) is a newly identified oncofetal RNA-binding protein that is involved in cell growth and cell migration during the early stage of embryogenesis. The potential application in diagnosis and therapy of breast cancer was evaluated in the present study. Different IMP3 expressions of different breast cancer samples were investigated by quantitative RT (reverse transcript) PCR; the 2 -△△CT method was also introduced to normalize the detection results. The results demonstrated that IMP3 gene expression was statistically correlated to tumor size and lymphatic metastasis ( P 〈 0.01 ) while no obvious correlations ( P 〉 0.05 ) were found between the IMP3 gene expression and different clinical stages and the pathological stage. This indicated that the IMP3 gene expression could be assayed by real time RT-PCR and the IMP3 gene might be used as a potential biomarker for the breast cancer and related diseases.
