高级英语是英语专业本科高年级的一门主干课程，由于其知识性强、语言难度大，所以在教学中存在着课程难度较大，教学目标难以实现等问题。从地方高校英语专业学生的实际情况出发，在高级英语教学中采用综合学习模式，有利于多种教育教学理论的融合，有利于教学方法体系的优化，有利于教师教学能力和学生综合技能的提高，有利于课程教学目标的实现。

Advanced English is a main course for undergraduates of English major in senior phase.
