This paper discusses the significance of image transmission on acertain type of pilotless aircraft by using satellite communication,and analyses the feasibility of this procedure.The author writes Matlab programs to calculate the expecting values of the quality factor of satellite which can meet the transmission request.According to the result of the calculation,the author considers that the CHINASAT-6 and the CHINASAT-8 satellites are relatively suitable.
