The noise produced by Roots blower was effectively reduced withadvanced noise control techniques in the coal washing plant of Fenghuangshan Mine. The on- the- spot test, measurement and analysis show that the use of comprehensive noise control techniques such as sound insulation, sound absorption and noise abatement can basically keep the noise level inside and outside the blower room and the room temperature in consistent with the preset targets, and has marked control effect, thus obtaining better social and environmental benefits.
