Rydberg energy levels and oscillator strength of endohedrally confined Na atoms have been calcuated by using a nonlinear algebraic mapping technique and B-spline method. The boundary conditions are conveniently satisfied with a specially designed knot sequence. Our results shows that endohedral confinement can selectively alter properties and envy levels of Rydberg atoms, and some spectral lines may collapse in some endohedral confinement.
