In cold continue mill electric control system,the uncoiler torque control precision affects the fin-ished shape and thickness tolerances,so calculating the torque which in different speed of uncoiler is a key tech-nology. A new method of calculating torque was introuduced. The torque compensation is calculated conven-iently using this method,and it is proved reliable and steady by realistic producing. It overcomes the phenome-non of instability tension and increases the ratio of finished product.
