生物法是目前污水处理中广泛采用的方法.但在我国北方地区冬季寒冷漫长、水温偏低,因此污水的生物处理普遍存在着处理效果差,出水难以达标的问题.通常解决的方法是降低污泥负荷,增加污水停留时间,但这样使污水厂的占地面积增大,运转费用变高.本文从微生物角度对此进行了研究.从自然界中分离、筛选到了四种能在0~9℃下生长并能处理生活污水的耐冷菌.测定了它们的生长曲线同时也做了单菌和混合菌的降解试验.结果表明:与中温菌相比,耐冷菌在低温条件下能够生长并具有较高的降解能力.采用耐冷菌可提高低温污水的生物处理效果.

Biotreatment techniques are widely used in wastewater treatment. In northern China biotreatment techniques have low efficiency and have great difficulties meeting standards because of the long cold winter and low temperature of wastewater. The usual way to settle that is to reduce the sludge loading rates and to prolong the hydraulic retention time, but that means a larger factory area and higher cost of operation are needed. This paper tries to study this issue from the view of microbiology. Four kinds of psychrotrophs that can decompose the organic compounds in sewage at the temperature of 0~10℃ are isolated from the natural environment. Their growth curves are determined while the decomposing experiments of single and composed bacterium are simustancously done. All the results showed that, compared with the mesophilic bacterium, the psychrotrophs can respire and have a certain ability to decompose the organic compounds in sewage at low temperature. Sewage treating efficiency can be improved by psychrotrophs.
