The research progress in zinc anodes in recent years was summarized.Most of the research was concentrated on zinc alloys and its compounds,which could reduce the zinc dendrite formation to some extent.High temperature treatment could negatively shift the hydrogen evolution potential of the alloy of Zn,Ni and In.Electrolyte additives and electrode additives could inhibit the formation of zinc dendrites.
