Shunde Polytechnic features unique advantages and characteristics in the development of continuing education as a newly-developed local vocational college. The continuing education has to face with the serious hazard of the homogenized tendency and establish characteristic development strategies in accordance with the special requirements of regional economy and society so as to form unique competitive advantages sustainably. The continuing education characteristic strategies are explored from micro-continuing education view, degree education transformation and non-degree education integrating learning community construction.
