According to the geology, topography, geomorphology and landscape needs along the construction route, for five pipelines crossing river, the trenchless construction method of DN1 200 PE pipe was used in the third sewage channel project in Shaoxing City. The project was successfully imple-mented and passed the acceptance. A number of gaps in pipeline installation technology were filled. Combined with the pipeline installation case in the third sewage channel project in Shaoxing City, the main points in trenchless design and construction of large-diameter PE pipe are summarized for reference.
